This business case requests £196,330 to fund a new digital inclusion stream in tandem to the Cabinet Office funded programme. The grant will fund the Young Foundation to design and deliver the new digital inclusion focused stream, leveraging the existing resources, governance structures and expertise in place, but with some of DCMS key departmental objectives at the centre.

Each volunteer will earn care time credits in exchange for carrying out a variety of tasks to help older people, such as, shopping, odd jobs, repairs, IT help, and advocacy support with helper agencies. The care credits will then be saved into a Care Pension for whenever the carer or their family need support in the future.
