This is a well-established and now the only remaining full-time youth and community centre in the County. It offers, training and accredited learning, skills development, information and support, leisure opportunities, a youth forum, volunteering opportunities, cafe, environmental projects and community events. The centre is at risk of closure, having lost its Manager's post funded by the County Council. The funding will contribute to the posts of the Manager and the Finance Officer, as well as rent and utilities. This will allow for better financial management and the development of a business plan, to include a fundraising strategy, improved staff management and the recruitment of more volunteers.
