This is the expansion of a project using music to reduce isolation, break down barriers between generations and support vulnerable people. There will be weekly music activities for older people in care homes and dementia units, with respite sessions for carers. Young people will deliver sessions with older people, alongside annual intergenerational events, and older people will be able to volunteer to support others. The group will work with other organisations to share learning and promote the programme.
