The project is using funding to continue the End of Life Carers Project for unpaid carers in the City of Westminster and adjoining boroughs and for their families cared for and employers. Activities include the provision of information and advice; emotional and practical support; support groups; breaks from caring; training; leisure activities; advocacy carer involvement and awareness-raising. Carers will be supported in their immediate needs such as grants and income maximisation advanced care planning and access to bereavement support. The project will raise the profile of End of Life Carers and best practice creating greater awareness of this important group and encouraging those who have not sought support to do so.
