4Sight provides vision impaired people with information, guidance & on-going support to promote independence & prevent social isolation following sight loss. Visually impaired members had experienced isolation before coronavirus, but now it’s even worse. Many members live alone and have limited support around them.Funding will support members with a surprise ‘Kindness Pack’ between June-July, to lift their spirits at this challenging time.

This project empowers visually impaired people in West Sussex to lead an independent, inclusive and fulfilling life after sight loss diagnosis. The project will use funding reach more people in new areas by developing a place-based social/activities clubs model that will create a variety of clubs across the county that are more accessible and which will better cater for a changing demographic of people with more varied needs.
