This funding will be used to create a new post – an ‘Empowering Families Officer’ to work with families and carers of their young people. The officer will work with the family as a whole to help build stronger relationships promote good communication between family members and more understanding of mental health and emotional resilience. The project aims to improve relationships prospects for the future and increase the number of young people in need being mentored.
