ESCAPE2MAKE

We aspire to help young people find and develop their creative passions, empathy, well-being and friendship groups through a calendar of inspiring, creative workshops, short courses and events. These are open to all secondary school age children (11-18) and are offered for free. We operate in the Lancaster district.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending since inception
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • There has been a change of accounting period recently, so trends may be hard to determine
  • Income was lower than spending in the latest year
