This project will host a Eurovision party for Ukrainian refugees in the community. This project will host a party in the honour of Ukrainian refugees with the event including venue rental; decorations; food; and beverages and aims to showcase the achievements of Ukrainian refugees; and to build stronger bonds between the Ukrainian community and the wider community.

We would like more materials and equipment for our group so we can upcycle more donated textiles into items to sell.

The funding will help meet the core costs of the organisation's referrals department. The organisation provides good quality cleaned and ironed clothes free of charge to people in need in the Berkshire area. A typical referral gives each person roughly one week’s clothing underwear and other essential items such as bedding duvets and pillows. The charity is referred 50-70 people a week and example beneficiaries include families fleeing domestic abuse rehousing of homeless individuals refugees / evacuees release from prison various mental and physical health issues and debt issues. Their service is designed to cover the period until the statutory services can provide them with ongoing regular support.

Towards core costs for the referrals team staff/volunteer cost, who assess client needs, pick and pack items and organise pick up or delivery.

The funding will be used to continue providing essential items to people who are experiencing poverty. The project aims to enable people to access their basic life needs. The Cowshed helps to reduce waste by recycling nearly a tonne of donations daily including clothing bedding and homewares and has created a community arts and craft group to make use of any left over items.

The project will use funding for their existing venue which provides donated clothes to people in need, and an Arts and Crafts co-ordinator. The project aims to develop their work through community craft sessions repurposing any damaged clothes, providing further volunteering opportunities and supporting more people in crisis.
