National Lottery A project to support vulnerable residents in Sefton, Merseyside. The scheme will include activities for disadvantaged children and young people such as the 'stay n play' group for parents with children under five, an after-school and holiday club, youth activities, with support for those with disabilities. The project will also run a food poverty programme, including a FoodBank, a volunteer-run cafe, healthy eating programmes and enterprise opportunities.

Objectives

TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE, EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND BY SO DOING IMPROVE THE WELFARE AND SPIRIT OF THOSE LIVING WITHIN THE AREA. THE FACILITIES ARE INTENDED TO ASSIST ALL THOSE LIVING WITHIN THE COMMUNITY IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS BOTH INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY, AS WELL AS IMPROVING THEIR GENERAL CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
