The sister company is The Brendoncare ....more The funding will support older people experiencing social isolation across Hampshire through the organisation's remote/digital Community Support Service (CSS). The sister company is The Brendoncare Foundation (BF) which also runs 10 care homes (7 in Hampshire) and four sites that allow for home ownership with assisted living. BC’s charitable aim is to reduce social isolation of older people via the provision of friendship and wellbeing clubs. They actively promote partnership working within the sector to ensure the best support for their beneficiaries. This includes partners providing events and activities and the provision of volunteers on a regular basis to assist with the running of club meetings. The long standing f2f community club offer includes special interest talks brunch lunch clubs singing groups local day trips exercise (Tai Chi fitness Pilates Curling table tennis dance) and cooking for one sessions.
