LGBT HERO will work in partnership with the LGBT Consortium to deliver an outreach, training and awareness campaign. They will run in-person drop-ins, information stalls in LGBTQ+ venues, community centres, educational settings and community events in London, with a particular focus on spaces that cater to trans and non-binary Londoners, Black, South Asian and minority ethnic and younger LGBTQ+ Londoners. During these outreach events, LGBT HERO will offer information, advice and support with applications for an accepted form of photo Voter ID, as well as distribute flyers, “wallet info cards” and posters.

LGBT HERO delivered a social media awareness raising campaign for LGBTQ+ Londoners, with a focus on Trans and non-binary Londoners. They co-created resources and trained volunteers to help share the message among their peers at in-person community events. The campaign also ran online group drop-in sessions for Trans and non-binary people and worked with LGBT Consortium for enhanced pan-London reach. Information is now hosted on a new hub on www.lgbthero.org.uk in various formats. LGBT Hero were featured in two articles in community press.
