A new project in Hackney will aim to increase confidence of Chinese and Vietnamese women to enable them to take control of their health through exercise, self-medication and accessing medical services. Support will include weekly health workshops delivered by Chinese and English speaking health care personnel. Quarterly healthy body fun days and six monthly community participation days will take place, delivered by English and Chinese speakers.
