Settled is a new charity whose mission is to guide, inform and assist EU citizens to gain settled status in the UK and to respond to the difficulties that they face – now and in the future. This grant supports the employment of a Service Coordinator based in Manchester who will oversee activities throughout the North of England, the region with least provision at present. The Coordinator will map unmet need, manage multi-lingual volunteer-run services, monitor impact and build mutually beneficial connections with diverse partners in the area.

With this funding, Settled intends to employ a Service Coordinator based in Manchester, who will oversee its activities throughout the North of England – the area of the UK with least provision at present. With expert local knowledge, the Coordinator will map unmet need, manage multi-lingual volunteer-run services, monitor impact and build mutually beneficial connections with diverse partners in the area, including building capacity to deliver OISC level 1 (EUSS) advice. They will work with Settled colleagues across the UK to build a national picture and influence policy and wider practice.
