This funding will support Greater Manchester Community Chaplaincy (GMCC) to continue working with offenders and ex-offenders across Greater Manchester receiving £188332 over three years. Sessions and groups will be run from the Methodist Hall in central Manchester whilst support is offered inside and out of the prison via the prison chaplain and outreach worker. Funding will support activities and groups advice and guidance mentoring and befriending alongside training and volunteer opportunities. GMCC work with both men and women who are or have been in prison and will or do live in Greater Manchester after release.
