This project aims to respond to the varied needs of refugees and asylum seekers in Slough, from food, shelter and healthcare to volunteering opportunities. The project will support effective community integration and encourage active citizenship by equipping beneficiaries with work and life skills. The project will provide a drop-in service alongside employment and mentoring support, and facilitate a volunteer programme enabling refugees to gain work experience, access training and improve their English.
