The project will work with the local leisure centre, Your Trust in Rochdale, to deliver Swimming, Zumba, Badminton, Table Tennis and local walks.

This funding will support Caring and Sharing to support families women and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to help them reach their potential. Based in Rochdale CAS aims to address inequalities within the community focusing on supporting and empowering black and minoritised community (BMC) groups refugees asylum seekers and those experiencing deprivation. Their aim is to bring the community together and enrich people’s lives. They do this through immigration advice education and employability skills English for beginners IT skills mentorship for young people mental health groups translated into different languages self-help groups peer support groups befriending services online workshops arts and crafts dance and cooking sessions.
