THE OBJECTS OF THE (CIO) (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE ‘CHARITY’)(‘THE OBJECTS’) ARETO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF PEOPLE DIAGNOSED WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND OTHERS EXPERIENCING PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY OF SOUTHAMPTON THROUGH MENTORING, TRAINING AND SUPPORT IN ORDER TO EMPOWER AND ASSIST THEM ON THEIR RECOVERY JOURNEY AND AID THEM INTO INDEPENDENT LIVING SO THEY BECOME ACTIVE, WELL INFORMED, PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
