OLIVE TREE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre is an independent charity providing a range of support to cancer patients, their carers and families. The cornerstones of our provision are information, emotional support and complementary therapy. We have an ever expanding offer of additional services including a cancer survivorship programme, a coaching programme, singing workshops and social events.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • Income has been volatile recently and was significantly lower than spending in the latest year
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
