The Loss Foundation is a registered charity providing support groups for people who have lost their loved ones to cancer or coronavirus. We provide supportive bereavement services aimed at creating regular spaces for people to share stories and experiences with others who have experienced a similar kind of loss.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • The charity has received modest backing from several prominent grant makers recently
  • There has been reasonable growth in spending over the last 3 years relative to the previous period
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
