The funding will cover the salary and associated costs of a new staff member. The LGBTQ+ Co-ordinator role will recruit and manage volunteers from across Lancashire. In turn this would free up capacity elsewhere in the organisation to enable LLGBT to support more people to bring in other funding and to develop more relationships with Public Health and in particular new people on the Integrated Care Board to ensure LGBTQ+ people are visible and not ‘forgotten’ in local strategic decision-making.
