The funding will be used to continue remote support services to families through telephone video and other remote working platforms. Training around how to ensure the continued welfare support of families will be provided. BRIC will liaise with partner agencies to ensure support is aligned and not replicating services. Monitoring will be developed to assess families’ ability to cope emotionally their physical health & well-being financial resilience and family management within the context of isolation.

This expansion of an existing project will provide practical help to families with at least one child under the age of five living in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire. The project will train volunteers to visit families in their own homes to support parents struggling with parenthood, isolation, bereavement, illness, disability or multiple births. The volunteers will provide non-judgemental support, helping to build the families' confidence and ability to cope and widening their links to the local community.
