The funding will help the project offer parent-infant therapy to families/parents many with complex mental health difficulties who are experiencing relationship difficulties with their babies/infants to enable them to build closer relationships and reduce adverse early year experiences . The funding will enhance their existing projects in West and South Oxfordshire meeting the evolving demands of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as addressing the escalating demand for referrals countywide which cannot currently be met by their available OXPIP centre provision.

The organisation supports those with parental mental health difficulties and helps parents and their babies to build close relationships from the start of life through an intensive focus on positive early relationships and emotional well-being. Oxford Parent Infant Project will use this funding to continue delivering their work through the pandemic.
