THE ATAXIA-TELANGIECTASIA SOCIETY

Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) is a progressive genetic condition which from early childhood causes increasingly severe disability, and shortens lives. The A-T Society is dedicated to improving quality of life and quality of care for people living with A-T while actively promoting research to lengthen lives and ultimately bring about a cure.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has received considerable income from legacies in recent years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
