The group is using funding to provide a Career Coaching service which aims to help unemployed women secure employment. The service includes a Client Advisory Group to put clients in the lead and an Interview Preparation Service. The new programme targets women furthest from the job market and those trapped in the unemployment cycle. The sessions will be beneficiary-led and take a strengths-based approach with skilled and trained volunteer coaches working with the unemployed women to review the next step in their career and identify practical ways of securing a job interview.
