This project will support vulnerable people in food poverty by giving them the help and practical support they need to buy and cook tasty healthy and affordable food. The project will improve the wellbeing of users and support them through the cost of living crisis.

Funding was provided for mentored home cooking classes in Hastings.

Funding was provided towards the running costs of their Mentored home cooking courses.

50% as running costs for the delivery of virtual mentored programmes to enable families to feed themselves on a very low budget, learning food skills and resilience, in the London Borough of Haringey.

The funding will be used working in partnership with NACRO to continue their successful virtual healthy cooking and eating project for vulnerable people including those in temporary housing including ex-offenders rough sleepers young adult care leavers and single parent families . This aims to reduce isolation and encourage healthy lifestyles with the view to improving wellbeing.
