Objectives

The objects of the Company shall be to assist in the development of the capacity and skills of the beneficiaries, being the inhabitants of Edlington and other areas of Doncaster, by all or any of the following means:(a) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people(b) provide unemployed people with work experience(c) the creation of training and employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms(d) the advancement of amateur sporting activities to improve health(e) the provisions of facilities for recreation and leisure-time activities to improve the conditions of life for the beneficiaries by, among other things, eroding social exclusion, developing citizenship, encouraging community engagement and development and promoting general health and wellbeing(f) the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health or disability or other disadvantage.
