The project aims to empower those discriminated against by poor insecure or due-to-be demolished housing rent poverty or negligent landlords by giving them the skills they need to advocate for change. Youth led it will foster pride on estates and challenge the negative stereotypes surrounding social housing. Using the medium of art and advocacy where young people can gain tangible skills and connect with older generations to celebrate the history of what has gone before and how it can be reshaped in the future. An interactive exhibition will be the legacy of achievements. Oral history testimonies filmed footage and research dramatizing the heritage of Kensal house the cemetery and local canal will all be available to the public at North Kensington library. The organisation is an award-winning theatre company based in a deprived housing estate ten minutes from Grenfell where concerns issues and injustice are strongly felt amongst residents. The organisation is well experienced in dramatizing the heritage of estates and reinventing theatre as a vibrant interactive youthful art form.
