The funding will be used to support vulnerable young people who are facing homelessness. The project will provide these young people with the use of a spare room in a positive environment where a trained vetted host will offer them an evening meal an opportunity to shower or bath provide a change of clothes breakfast a packed lunch the following day and a listening ear. A key worker will also work with the young person to help them to either return home or to permanent accommodation. This aims to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Armed forces, public services and youth services will be encouraged to provide talks on career opportunities, while beneficiaries will attend career advice days at South Devon College. Team building, such as orienteering, will be held.
