The grant supports the sustainable hospice service offer of palliative and end of life care for children and young people. Please note that these hospice grants were previously funded by DHSC and was then transferred to NHSE to distribute and manage as ongoing support to the childrens hospices via a multi year award. The original agreements and decisions made at the time were back in ~2019 as part of government and NHSE discussions around the long term plan.
