It aims to improve the home learning environment and child cognitive and social and emotional outcomes. The PCHP model is based on twice-weekly home visits, for 15 months, by trained volunteer home visitors. The visits follow an evidenced curriculum where families receive free educational books and toys each visit and are supported to read and play together.
