The Trust has been formed to benefit the people residing and/or working in the Lossiemouth Community Council area, which comprises the postcode unit IV31, and will represent the interests of the whole community of Lossiemouth, throughout the lifetime of the Trust. The Trust objectives are: (1) The advancement of community development, including advancement of rural regeneration, but such that the Trust shall do so following principles of sustainable development. (2) The enhancement of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
