    The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of education, The advancement of citizenship or community development, The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of fife for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and The advancement of environmental protection or improvement and, in particular (without prejudice to that generality), furthering these purposes by furthering the following objects: To provide a vibrant, contemporary and visionary training and skills development programme, using community and digital media as a meaningful and stimulating medium to increase the chances of both young people and adults within the African communities in Scotland, Glasgow and its surrounding areas in particular, of moving into employment, education or training, using innovative ways of attracting into learning people who have been disillusioned by early educational experience or who face barriers to learning because of social, cultural, caring or financial barriers, as a result of the integrating in a new society, and to encourage and advance active citizenship in all sections of the community through the making and presenting of radio programmes. to advance community cohesion and development across all aspects of local activity. to advance the inclusion of minority groups in community activity and to include such groups in becoming better recognised in areas of operation. and to provide awareness raising and outreach support to the African Communities on how to cut their carbon footprint, improve on home energy efficiency while saving money at the same time.
