ONE COMMUNITY LINK

OCL is a training center which provides basic English classes to Black and ethnic and minority. We exist to promote social integration by raising awareness about hate crime and and empowering BME to report . Act as intermediaries including providing support and guidance for families of BME including parents who are going through asylum process who have particular concerns about hate crime.

Objectives

TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE TEES VALLEY WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OR CREED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY:1. PROVIDING A LOCAL NETWORK GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES AND ENABLES MEMBERS OF THE BME COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY;2.
