It will allow the group to continue its Telephone Chat Scheme which was set up in March 2020 this has proven to be an effective intervention for loneliness and isolation and provides an opportunity to identify people who might need further help. The funding will also allow the group to continue to offer signposting and keep older people informed through regular newsletter magazine giving details about services support activities events and volunteering and they will continue to recruit older volunteers.
