Many of our clients stay with perpetrators because it is what they know and they have no one else to turn to for support within the community after we have gone home. With your help all of our clients will learn new skills, gain confidence and not accept domestic abuse as a way of life. They will learn the benefits of working out safely and how to achieve their goals. They will get to taste and cook food from different areas. They will Learn how to relax. As we have said all of our clients suffer anxiety, depression and isolation. They will be with others who have suffered similar horrific pasts but now not looking back but instead looking forward and making friends not because they have domestic abuse in common but also because they share a common interest in art etc. Our clients are living within the community but not engaging with it. Many of our clients have amazing talents that go to waste or remain undiscovered. With the help from this grant we will build stronger communities where more people are active within it.
