Family Based Solutions (FBS) is seeking £459486 to continue their work supporting families and their parent/carers to end conflict in the home. The beneficiaries of FBS are any families recovering from domestic abuse and/or experiencing child to parent abuse and adult to adult abusers. Their application is to continue their work with families in Barnet Enfield and Haringey.The organisation seeks to support families living with domestic abuse in the following ways:- Child to parent abuse (CPA). Since the organisation's inception in 2012 FBS has worked with over 780 families to end abuse in the home. The project will support participating families in Enfield Haringey and Barnet by providing each family with a qualified solution focused family coach and volunteer. - Adult on adult abuse experienced by 73% of participating Families. FBS has a 5 year licence to run DART an NSPCC developed programme for survivors of domestic abuse which works with families once the perpetrator has left the home. This programme works with adults and their children in group sessions to rebuild relationships and to understand the impacts this has had on the family. The aim is to prevent children from going on to become future victims or perpetrators and for the custodial parent to become confident in their parenting build positive relationships and to move forward together as a family. - Family Based Relationships (FBR) is a bespoke service to FBS written in partnership with Coventry University working with adult perpetrators of domestic abuse. . The aim is to support low level perpetrators who want to change their behaviours with many of whom still in a relationship with their partners. This is to prevent further abuse so children and their parents can live in a safe environment.

This group will expand its project to provide support to parents who are abused by their children. The project will work with groups of parents and children aged 6 to 16 years who have experienced domestic violence but the abusive partner is no longer in the home. It will aim to prevent children from going on to abuse their parents, future partners or those who experience mental health problems due to their experiences. The group will provide holistic and practical support to eliminate isolation.
