Objectives

THE CHARITYÔÇÖS OBJECTS (ÔÇŸOBJECTSÔÇÖ) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:TO HELP AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY:-A. BUILDING POSITIVE AND MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE POLICE AND YOUNG PEOPLE BY TAKING GROUPS OF YOUTHS FROM THE LOCAL AREA TO AN OUTDOOR CENTRE;B. STRENGTHENING A POSITIVE POLICE PROFILE IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THESE RELATIONSHIPS;C. DELIVERING A STRUCTURED 3 YEAR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME THROUGH THE ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS ;D. BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM AND A SENSE OF PURPOSE THROUGH PERSONAL CHALLENGE IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT; AND,E. ASSISTING YOUNG PEOPLE TO LIVE AND WORK TOGETHER IN THE INTERESTS OF RAISING COMMUNITY SPIRIT
