Shrewsbury Homes provide support for those who ....more This funding will support Shrewsbury Homes For All to provide housing support and advice to enable people in Shrewsbury to gain and maintain tenancies. Shrewsbury Homes provide support for those who are homeless in housing need or who need help to avoid homelessness. They are currently a delivery partner in a consortium who hold a commissioned service funded by Shropshire Council through which they provide a floating support service specifically within Shrewsbury (other partners providing similar services elsewhere in the county.) In addition SHFA offer housing support information and advice and signposting for tenants and to anyone who is homeless or inadequately housed. SHFA also work with local private landlords who rent their properties through the charity at a fair rate to supported clients. This enables the charity to offer a complete approach to support working with both the tenant and landlord helping people into accommodation mediating the relationship and thereby supporting tenants to maintain and thrive in their home.
