Primary focus of this new project will be to develop common processes to deliver a more effective and efficient service eg promoting the use of telephone advice and using IT more effectively. A new Training Co-ordinator role will train staff within partner organisations. Fully trained staff and volunteers will then be placed within advice agencies in health and social care venues, GP practises, emergency care centres, walk-in clinic and libraries to enhance accessibility across South Tyneside.
