The funding will enable the group to hire the small ....more Funding for Capital, staff, volunteer, activity and overhead costs to deliver sensory swimming sessions for children, young people and parents. The funding will enable the group to hire the small pool, plus a double lane in the main pool, lifeguard costs and up to two sensory swim teachers to lead activities for one whole year, meaning children and their families wouldn't need to pay entry fees to participate. The funding would also cover volunteers costs for up to 4 volunteers, some of whom may be under 18 years of age. Alongside, additional equipment to develop the sessions. * Youth-led project- £500- As part of the project the group would have a panel of young people to help shape the aqua-sensory sessions, with a budget of £500 to spend on the aqua-sensory provision, may that be a new projection wheel, music, tactile toys or floats. The young people would help shape the activities being offered during each aqua-sensory session so that we cater for all ages up to 18.
Co-Operative Group - Grant to Scarborough Disabled Swimming Group (SDSG)
