The administration of c. 1,469 Debt Relief Orders (DROs) by Competent Authorities within the debt sector in England. The Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 which established MaPS requires MaPS to have regard for those most in need. DROs are a critical debt solution for many who fall into that category and tend to be used by very low-income clients and often those in vulnerable circumstances.
