The funding will g towards the core costs and service delivery of the Waterside Centre. It will provide a youth club provision school holiday activities youth development programme and outreach support for young people aged 10-18 years living in Newbury West Berkshire. Berkshire Youth operates right across the whole county and predominantly focuses on prevention and helping young people not yet in crisis but who face barriers to accessing support in areas such mental health and caring responsibilities. Berkshire Youth provides support through local youth clubs and their “inspired facilities” onto an accredited Leadership Programme with further opportunities for volunteering and employment with Berkshire Youth or other community youth services.

The project aims to bring young people together to learn life skills that can be used within their local community.
