The funding will see the organisaiton work across the borough of Dudley to improve and expand its current offer to children and young people implement holistic family support and deliver training and support to other organisations working with young people and families. The project will work with beneficiaries to:* Improve educational and employment prospects.* Reduce harm and mitigate risks that threaten personal safety and wellbeing. * Build individual and family resilience.* Create a new ‘safe space’ provision where larger groups can reconnect socially within a structured environment.The project will extend support for parents and carers across all of Phase Trust’s work streams especially for families with children affected by exploitation HSB bereavement abusive relationships family break-up and poor mental health and wellbeing. This work will build on their current piloting of family work that has demonstrated the link between parental and child wellbeing. =

The organisation will use the funding for two new universal youth clubs for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged 19 – 25. The youth clubs will provide a safe and secure environment, and will host a variety of activities around creative arts, music, sports and sports coaching. There will also be personalised support programmes available and young people will also be given the opportunity to feedback on the various programmes.

This expansion of an existing project will reach out to vulnerable young people in the West Midlands who are attracted to gang culture. It will provide a safe environment delivering preventative activites with the aim of reducing knife and gun crime and raising aspirations, belief and capacity for participants to influence their lives. Activities will include creative arts, music, sports, issue-based youth work and accredited courses. A new premise will also be refurbished as a live music venue.
