Objectives

THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ARE: I) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES FROM AFRICAN AND OTHER MINORITY GROUPS IN THE UK AND AFRICA, INCLUDING REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS, IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. II) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS PARTICULARLY AMONGST COMMUNITIES SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF AIDS, DISABILITIES, WAR AND FORCED MIGRATION THROUGHOUT THE UK AND OVERSEAS.
