The project is using funding to provide a programme of activities across Dorset for children and young people aged 5-19 years with disabilities and their families. The funding will allow the group to restart monthly coffee mornings provide information sessions on subjects including challenging behaviour sleep hygiene and sensory difficulties from professionals they cannot normally access such as psychiatrists occupational / speech & language therapists. The project will also offer wellbeing sessions including yoga massage stress-busting techniques mindfulness and crafting.

The group currently offers holiday play opportunities in parts of East Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole. The project will expand its services into rural Dorset, providing play opportunities for disabled children and their siblings across rural Dorset and short breaks for parents.
