GRIMESTHORPE FAMILY CENTRE

Grimesthorpe Family Centre is run by volunteers to provide space for groups to rent, to benefit the community. We are still refurbishing the Centre so there is only a Wendesday Dementia Tea and Toast meeting every week at present and people that hire the Hall. The Youth Club can not open until the walls have been plastered, Electrics fitted and the room decorated.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received backing from several prominent grant makers recently and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Latest accounts are overdue for filing
