Leo's supports the well-being of families who require neonatal care in the North East of England. Our focus is on improving mental health of the entire family from birth, until they no longer need Leo's. We do this by offeringcommunity support work to reduce social isolation, we have dedicated peer support, a counselling service, vCreate and heartbeat bears. Also founder of Neonatal MH Week.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending since inception
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • There are only 3 trustees

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • There has been a change of accounting period recently, so trends may be hard to determine
