FRIENDS OF THE DROP-IN FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES

We seek to improve the mental health and well-being of all asylum seekers and refugees in Sunderland, whilst promoting their integration into the wider community. Our weekly Drop-in now extends to a Women?s group and added activities for all ages. Our intention is to develop these undertakings.FODI continues the work of the charity of the same name (registered charity 1153057). ?2011-2018.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending since inception
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
