They cannot support the demand solely from donations and need to purchase bulk supplies.

Funding will help to establish adequate stock of non-perishable food to supply on demand. The aim is to provide food for three meals per day for three weeks for a maximum of six weeks although this is often longer, due to the delays in state benefits and other means of support.
