The user-led approach will help families build resilience improve health and wellbeing and mitigate the negative impacts of lockdown to improve their ability to cope with their mental health access specialist support services in the community and enable them to support their children to have the best start in life.

Funding is sought for technology to allow the group to support families virtually and through social media. Funding will cover volunteer training, IT knowledge upskilling and the compilation/delivery of family activity packs. Families supported are already isolated due to mental health, single parents, migrant background or with a long-term health issue (child/parent). Some with no local family or friends, with the additional challenge of shielding due to Covid-19.
